Dans les combats au tour par tour, chaque personnage peut utiliser jusqu'à trois styles pour obtenir divers avantages, de la récupération aux styles de combat. Augmentez les niveaux d'Energi et gagnez de nouvelles capacités en améliorant plusieurs éléments uniques à la série Alphadia. Les compétences combinées appelées “Resonant Skill” sont également la clé de la victoire.
Alphadia Neo vous propose également un système de pêche original où vous pourrez pêcher à différents endroits pour obtenir des poissons échangeables contre des objets ou équipements puissants !

« Alphadia Neo is a pretty good fishing game with some light dungeon exploring tacked on. The story is pretty standard KEMCO fare, the fighting is what we’ve seen before, right down to different coloured enemies being treated as new species, and all in all this is a pleasant way of killing some time. »
« Alphadia Neo is a decent retro-inspired RPG with its main issue being just how profoundly unchallenging it is. With that being said, its many systems actually have a lot of promise so I hope that they're used in a future game with a bit more meat on its bones. »
