Et si vous aviez le pouvoir de débarrasser le monde de la maladie, d'améliorer la vie de millions de personnes et de soulager les souffrances... tout ça contre un joli profit ?En tant que dirigeant de votre propre conglomérat pharmaceutique, vous détenez ce pouvoir. Ne l'utiliserez-vous qu'à bon escient ? La triste vérité (y a-t-il un antidote contre elle ?) est que certains remèdes sont plus rentables que d'autres et que beaucoup de mal fait beaucoup de bien au portefeuille.

D'humbles débuts
avec quelques machines rouillées et retapées, progressez de traitements génériques de base à la découverte de nouveaux ingrédients actifs et d'appareils de pointe pour concevoir la toute nouvelle génération de médicaments.
Mais attention,
vous n'êtes pas le seul fabricant. Des corporations rivales disposent également de tout une volée de médicaments et feront tout pour vous couler.
De plus, les prix du marché évoluent, ce qui veut dire que vos jolis comprimés antigrippaux de l'hiver dernier ne se vendront pas aussi bien maintenant que c'est l'été. Où ai-je donc mis ma crème solaire antiride ?
Big Pharma
est tout autant un jeu de logistique qu'un simulateur d'affaires. Travailler à perfectionner de nouvelles formules au labo est une chose, mais les transformer en argent liquide nécessitera aussi des analyses techniques et financières.
L'espace de production coûte cher, et ce n'est pas toujours facile de relier économiquement agglomérateurs et centrifugeuses.

Democracy 4 is just ONE WEEK away from Early Access

Not only does today mark the first Presidential election debate in the US, its just a week away from the launch into early access of our political strategy game Democracy 4. If you want to try your hand at implementing Universal Basic Income, or maybe you want to ban teaching evolution in schools, perhaps build a border wall, or legalize heroin, or go crazy with the money printer with some helicopter money or quantitative easing... these are all options available to you in Democracy 4. Currently the game features the USA, UK, Germany and France, and we expect to add Canada before Early Access starts, with a list of other countries coming after that as we continue to work on the game in response to player feedback.
