Blood Bowl is a combination of a tactical and sports game. The basics are extremely simple: two teams, one ball. The team that carries the ball into the opponent's end zone scores a touchdown, the team with the most touchdowns at the end of the game is the winner. However, it’s how you decide to do this that makes things interesting, the ends justify the means! It’s not just the players you have at your disposal either. You can bribe the referee to look the other way as you cripple or trample annoying opponents and hire illegal wizards to give you a hand directly from the crowd… Blood Bowl severely tests the finest tacticians' strategies. There are many races to accommodate every player’s profile (23 in the Chaos Edition, 20 in the Legendary Edition, 9 in the Standard Edition) and even more strategies for experimenting. Winning a game requires a strong game-sense and a lot of self-control. For the player's enjoyment, omnipresent humour and the use of spells, weapons, and other non-regulatory actions place Blood Bowl outside of the classic sport simulation genre.

À la frontière du jeu tactique et du jeu de sport, Blood Bowl met à rude épreuve les meilleurs tacticiens. Le principe de base est extrêmement simple : deux équipes, un ballon. L’équipe qui amène le ballon de l’autre coté des buts adverses marque un point. Cependant tous les moyens sont bons pour arriver à ses fins ! Profitez d’un instant d’inattention de l’arbitre pour estropier ou piétiner un adversaire un peu trop gênant, ou offrez-vous les services d’un magicien pour qu’il fasse pencher la balance en votre faveur depuis les gradins…
Blood Bowl Édition Légendaire comporte aussi des nouveaux stades et de nouveaux modes de jeu comme le "Story". L’humour omniprésent, l'utilisation de magie, d'armes, et d’autres moyens pas très réglementaires est ce qui différencie définitivement Blood Bowl des autres simulations classiques de sport, pour le plus grand plaisir du joueur.

Un jeu qui vaut le coup d oeil si on est fan des licences Games Workshop. Sinon, je crois qu il vaut mieux passer son chemin car c est de prime abord assez rebarbatif avec des regles saugrenues et incomprehensibles (il faut s y interesser de pres)......
Bon après de nombreuses heures sur le jeu je finis par avoir un bon point de vue sur celui-ci. Au début j'ai détesté ce jeu. Trop frustrant, trop compliqué, trop injuste. Mais j'ai insisté. Au bout de ma 10ème heure, j'ai commencé à prendre plaisir....

C'est pas mal, assez fidèle au jeu de plateau, mais que l'IA est faible, c'est trop facile de remporter les matchs, du coup ça casse tout. Dommage
Je retrouve l'ambiance de mon jeu de plateau. J'ai encore la boite de la seconde édition ainsi que tout les figurines de tout les champions et 12 équipes de races différentes. L'avantage du jeu sur pc c'est de pouvoir jouer plus facilement partout et...

Its crowds and players and logo-adorned ball too, but mostly grass. Thick, lustrous, individually-bladed grass, with shadows and everything. « A fun game that does not require reflexes but brains. Role playing elements and strategy works great together. There are many races you can pick. You have to plan your game for a W. I am not even into american football but this game is fun if you like slow games/board games/turn based games. « As someone who loved playing the Blood Bowl board-game with my brother as kids, I very much wanted this game to be good. It certainly has the potential to be, but as mentioned before, the single player is just overshadowed completely by the ludicrous dice-roll cheating in the AI's favour. Contrary to the die-hard fans who insist that single-player modes are for dinosaurs, and impatience is the only conclusion for getting pissed off at a game, I play multiplayer games regularly and have the patience of a saint. However, none of my friends play this, and I found myself cursing the screen like a trooper at how badly the game cheats with no shame or attempt to hide it. Every time you're about to score or win, you'll get the worst roll possible. Again and again. The AI, however, enjoys the pleasures of what actually appears to be reasonably random rolls. It grows old very fast. This game could have been so much more if someone hadn't 'dropped the ball' on.. dropping the ball. I Hate to give a bad rating on a game, but feel the higher number of positive reviews reflects people who only play multiplayer, or those who love Blood Bowl enough to put up with inferior single-player gameplay. I'm sure multiplayer is more fun, but if you want single-player, stay away. I last played this about a year back, but don't think it's been patched since, rather they've released Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition instead. Probably better to take a look at that. »

« Love this Game. I can't stand most sports games, and this just lets me have fun. The turn base mode is great way to get comfortable if you prefer strategy. Love the variety of races. Sure it doesn't have ALL the races from the Board game, but none the less, it provides great variety. »
