Avis des critiques et joueurs
Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« The underlying gameplay is still so brilliant that it is painful to see it brought it down by obtuse and ancient systems that make the overall experience frustrating. »
« Instead of ushering in a revolution for the strategy genre, Carrier Command 2 ends up feeling more like a prototype that needed extra time in development. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« This could be one of the best multiplayer titles ever. But it isn't. It's too sluggish, too confusing, and too complicated for casual gamers. It takes time to learn, and the game offers no help whatsoever. Instead, you NEED YouTube tutorials. This alone causes the game to lose at least 50% of potentially interested players. That's a shame, because it's one of the most captivating games I've ever **** battles are intense and offer dramatic situations. A single torpedo can change the outcome of any encounter. However, torpedoes are too complex to control. You basically need an Excel spreadsheet or immense skills to calculate under pressure. The graphics, as simple as they may be, draw you in simply because of their clarity and lighting conditions. The sound isn't impressive, yet the ambient noise, the incoming shots and missiles, the flight sounds... it all fits. An incredible amount of wasted potential. Unfortunately, the community is too small to expect any fundamentally changing content from it, apart from a few useful QoL add-ons.I'm sad because I loved the original in 1988. At 51, I am disappointed by many of today's superficial games. CC2 would have been the best remake of all time in my eyes, with just a little more love put into the execution. And yes, the fun doubles with a friend. Playing alone is a bit too stressfull and thus not everybodys cup of tea. But definitly try it out on the next sale. 10$ are not wasted, ill guarantee it. »
« I’ve played this game for a couple days and hours and the reason I’d read it at seven is because I feel like it’s a really fun game but it requires a lot of patience and it’s a good start but definitely needs more development. »
« If you always wanted to be a warship captain, you should definitely try this. The bad: - Tutorial too short, does not show the real potential of the game, you must resort to community tutorials to learn how to manage some things. - No quality textures. - If you want to play single player, it's a bit stressful but you can do it. The good: - Multiplayer of this game is great and you get the real power of the game. - You have the option to take manual control of air or ground units. - The game has enough elements to be between an arcade game and a simulation. »
« Great concept, very mediocre execution. It's a shame to see a great concept get delivered in a bad package, at a pretty high price. It's single player experience is non-existent, and quickly turns the game into a management tycoon. Because of it's high price, multiplayer will be hard to achieve and there is absolutely no lobby system, and no form of matchmaking. The artificial intelligence is terrible and quickly runs into issues and on top: there's no tutorial whatsoever. In short; Great concept, poorly executed. »
