Chorus of the Night
Description (IGDB)
Fight through hordes of burnt CDs, flying TVs, and faceless suits in this frantic, run-based, twin-stick shooter. Forget firing bullets, though - you'll be flinging vinyl records, throwing drumsticks and swinging guitars to fend off the enemies of music and maybe, just maybe, survive the night.

Mini-boss update!
To add some more variety to each run, there are now five different mini-bosses that can show up as you attempt to survive the night. Each mini-boss has its own unique attack patterns you'll have to contend with, from a cheering crowd that calls down weights of expectation, to a megaphone-headed office manager that assaults you with demands to work harder. In addition to the mini-bosses, random events will now occur throughout each run, forcing you to adapt to new enemies and hazards. Coupled with the recent introduction of Mosh Pit mode, this update should provide a fresh challenge to players who've already mastered the core gameplay loop. I hope you enjoy this update, and please let me know if you have any feedback!
Patch notes for 5th Jan
Increased max level cap to account for increased experience gain in Mosh Pit mode. Fixed a bug with the permanent unlocks UI that didn't properly show fully upgraded tiers. Shout-out to Nate for spotting this issue!
Mosh Pit Mode added!
For folks who've survived the night and want a tougher challenge, Mosh Pit mode increases the number of enemies, gives them more health, faster movement speed, and higher damage output. As a reward, you get three times as much sheet music from every drop. Mosh Pit mode is unlocked as a toggle below the Start Game button once you've successfully survived a standard 20min run. There's also a new achievement for folks who manage to survive the night in Mosh Pit mode! Along with the new mode, I've made some tweaks to the Guitar Lead and T-shirt Cannon weapons, buffing them to bring them more in-line with the other weapons.
