Deer Hunter
Sorti le 31 décembre 2008 sur navigateur web, Deer Hunter est un jeu de tir directement inspiré de l'épisode « Paintball Deer Hunter », neuvième volet de la première saison de la série télévisée dont il est issu. Le joueur y incarne un chasseur muni d'un pistolet à billes de peinture devant pourchasser des personnages déguisés en cerfs.
Côté réception, le site Cheat Code Central a livré un verdict sévère, jugeant le titre « pas bon », manquant de profondeur face à Cabela's Big Game Hunter et de défi comparé à Sega Bass Fishing. Sur Metacritic, un joueur a quant à lui critiqué la pertinence même des notes attribuées par la communauté, soulignant le volume considérable de sorties sur PlayStation 2 pour relativiser l'intérêt porté à ce jeu.

« The reviews for this game clearly showcase what's wrong with the users who rate here. The PS2 had well over 1700 releases just in North America alone. Anyone suggesting this game is a "10" must be smoking crack or something. Those scores should be reserved for only the best games the system had to offer. It's almost as offensive as the half wits who rate games "0". There is not a single game released on PS2 that deserves a zero! It may not be a genre you like, or you may not like the graphics, maybe it just didn't live up to your expectations... whatever it is, it's a biased review if your not giving any credit at all. For me, this game ranks just below any of the Cabela's I've ever tried. Admittedly, I have zero interest in hunting in real life so I have zero interest in delving into any of the nuanced differences between the two games. »
