« It takes the core experience that made Diablo II great and makes it less frustrating and, more importantly, much more accessible. Where Diablo II encouraged careful planning and forethought, Diablo III encourages experimentation and fun. And hey, if you're not down with that, Torchlight II is right around the corner. »

Gameblog.fr 100/100

« Blizzard had to compromise to manage the expectations of a larger audience. Diablo III still manages to remain truthful to its roots, while still increasing accessibility for newcomers. Some players might be annoyed by those revisions of the formula, but the truth is that Diablo III still is the benchmark of modern hack'n slash games we were praying to get, thanks to incredible production values, polish, sound work and content. »

Joystiq 100/100

« At its core, Diablo 3 is a series of combat encounters and, when you realize just how carefully it's put together, Blizzard's expertise is staggering. »

Eurogamer Portugal 100/100

« It is true that Blizzard is not a company known for being innovative, but there is a word which I believe defines their games: competence. Diablo is the best of its genre and is there to last for several years. »

« It's such a rare thing that my interest in continuing to play a game keeps increasing not just toward the end of the game but past the end, yet somehow the more Diablo I play, the more Diablo I want to play. It doesn't do anything especially new with the action-RPG genre, but it does all the old things very, very well, and sometimes that's more than enough. »

Polygon 100/100

« Games this thoughtfully crafted don't happen very often, and the care that Blizzard has taken with Diablo 3 shows in every facet of its design and execution. It might not be perfect, but after 45 hours, I'm not sure where it missteps, and after 45 hours, I feel like I've only scratched the surface of what it has to offer. Diablo 3 is almost evil in how high a bar it's set for every PC action RPG to follow, and I wouldn't be surprised to see that bar remain for a very long time. »

Digital Chumps 98/100

« It's everything Diablo II was except better. »

Everyeye.it 97/100

« Diablo 3 is an odyssey in a cruel and dark world. Its epic and violent story is yet again upon us. And we shall all tremble. »

« Such a downgrade from D2/D2R. Graphics are juvenile and cartoonish. Too much unnecessary ADHD monologue/dialogue. No legit PVP. Doesn’t feel like Diablo at all. Old Diablo was mature, dark, gothic, immersive, straight to the point. Feels like I’m playing Dragonflight. I can see how this birthed so many woke retail posers. »

« I was pretty excited in 2012 going into D3, as I liked everything I had seen from preview coverage and so forth. I had not played D2 at the time, but always heard great things. My ARPGs at the time were Nox, Titan Quest, Dungeon Siege 1 and 2, and Torchlight. All great games. However, none of them quite compared to D3. It was just doing everything so great. It was fun to play every class and grind and explore alone or with friends. Fantastic characters and enemies. The great locations that looked amazing at the time. Even in the very beginning, where the difficulty in the end game was brutal, when a buddy and I 2 manned Diablo on the hardest difficulty, it felt really good. Even the auction house they had, I didn't mind it. I didn’t buy anything, but it was a unique idea and I made like $300 on some very mediocre items so that was pretty rad. But, more than all of that, it was just fun. The characters, the builds, the world. It was so well designed, top to bottom. I still refer to D3, to this day, as my favorite ARPG and while I might be a bit scared to go back now after all these years, fearing it might not have aged well…I still hold it in high regard. »

« Awesome game, my favourite Diablo. Nice story, good mechanics. The only reason why it's a 9 instead of a 10, it's because the ONLY mechanic in the game is killing (ik its a hacknslash but its a little bit repetitive). »

Pilson 10/10

« I liked the story and the graphics, but despite increasing the difficulty to hard, it still was very easy and I couldn't increase it more without re-starting the campaign. »

« 10/10 Played on pc in waaaaay early release, played on ps3, played RoS. The scinematics, the soundtrack, enviromenr, everything just give me chilli. Diablo 4? The same, but better. Thank you for this MASTERPIECE **** séries. I can’t wait for Diablo 5 ️ »

Cafard 9/10

« I only got to play Diablo 3 recently on PS3, but I absolutely loved it. Whether I played solo or co-op, I had a great time. The gameplay is super satisfying, and playing with friends made it even more fun. It's the kind of game where hours just fly by without you noticing. Even years after its original release, it still holds up really well. Highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys action RPGs or just wants to have a good time slaying demons with friends! »
