Distant World...
I have spent nearly 150 hours trying to love this game that has a huge potential but it is far from being there yet. So, i am certainly not recommanding to anyone to get involved at the moment unless you are looking for quite a few moments of utter f...

Avis des critiques et joueurs
Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« There are a lot more intricacies and features we didn’t have the time to go into here, but suffice to say Distant Worlds 2 will keep you interested in its universe for a long time with no shortage of mechanics to learn. If large scale galactic strategy is your idea of fun, you can’t go wrong giving Distant Worlds 2 a chance to shine. »
« If you are a 4x passionate player, you will struggle a little to get into the game, but then you will find yourself kidnapped for months in an exceptional experience in terms of the possibilities offered and general satisfaction. »
« Distant Worlds 2 is a rich space-based, real-time strategy experience that can provide hundreds of hours of fun to a dedicated fan. The writing and narrative aren’t interesting enough but the mechanics more than make-up for this weakness. The automation options are deep and make it easier to focus on certain aspects of the 4X concept, delegating the rest to a decent computer algorithm. But before anyone jumps into Distant Worlds 2, they should set aside time and patience. Make extensive use of the in-game help, read forums if you need to, delegate a lot at first, and only engage with what you like. Code Force has delivered a solid strategy package, which means updates and DLC can only improve it and add accessibility and fun. »
« If you are looking for a sci-fi 4X where to spend the coming years of your gaming life, you just found it. »
« Distant Worlds 2 is a 4X for veterans of the genre, looking for a game to challenge all their management skills. CodeForce crafted a deep, complex strategy game, albeit one that doesn't concede anything to the modern age in terms of graphics and narrative. »
« Space strategy game with massive and vibrant galaxies, enormously motivating - if you can overcome the high entry hurdle. »
« Distant Worlds 2 is following its predecessor’s footsteps providing us a vast and enormous 4X space sim, with more options and customization than ever. The inclusion of the ship editor is very good and adds depth (if it ever needed more) to a title that can and will be daunting for many. The inclusion of an option to delegate major parts of the gameplay to the AI is refreshing but is too tempting, and could reduce the entire game to a click simulator where all we do is to accept the AI suggestions. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« A 4X space empires management on a epic scale. The mechanisms are sometime obtuse, and need some work to understand, but the result is spectacular: seeing your empire living, with hundred of civil ships fetching ressources, tourists, migrants ; fleets of tens of ships defending or attacking etc. is very immersive. Everything can be AI controlled or assisted, so you choose your level of involvment. The game is of course not perfect but I love the experience »
« [SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.] »
« Great game with great promise. Looking forward to the DLCs. Developer is constantly putting out patches. »
« It's a bit buggy but it has a lot of content and much more features then stelaris wen it launched well worth the price and if a healthy modding community forms it might be the best grand strategy space game especially if the developers continue to support the game like Gladius A Year latter and I think they really dropped the ball on this one »
« buggy pos the lag was so unbearable i couldn't 't even zoom properly. i have never refunded a game so quick in my life! »
« A little buggy but a solid improvement over universe. This game is the current king of the 4x space strategy game. »
« The new king of 4x gaming. In almost every case better than the first part. »
