Dovetail Games Flight School

« For the budget price Dovetail Games are asking it is a great jumping on point for folk new to flight simulators or intimidated by the thought of a ‘full’ simulator. The content on offer is well-produced and a lot of fun. Just be aware of some potential technical gremlins. »
« Not as engaging and rich as Microsoft Flight Simulator, but still decent. [08/2016, p.73] »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« This do not target hardcore virtual pilots, but bigineers. Goal achieveded, game is what was promised. But from graphics side is really bad even limits to MSFS technology. We can see MSFS based simulators which looks better than Flight School even default without any addons. + nice modern GUI + moderniyed and easz to use flight planner + good aircrafts quality, some payware FSX do not look better + for me, flyes fine + no popup autogen like FSX -+ performance... it is mostlz stock FSX, overall performance is fine, I can run it with DSRx4. But it is close to FSX or P3Dv3 full of addons. - terrible 2D GPS panel... looks bad, it is blurry... worse that FSX - not all buttons/switches work in VC - I do not see VSync option in settings - multi monitor... I cant use one for FS and second for anything else when full screen is active - black screens, It is possible turn off black filling in P3D - udocked window = big performance hit - it is unable to turn off annoying red texts like breaks, overspeed, view etc. from menu, it is possible via cfg. P3D allows it easily from GIU - internal FPS meter shows unreal numbers, external meters shows what I really see (internal shows lower numbers). EVGA Precision causes heavy perfromance hit! - terrible clouds and weather overall, same as lights. - black screen for while during switching some settings like resolution Dovetail Games do not plan addons for Flight School, but looks like it is possible to add some scenery, textures or planes into it manually »
