EA Sports FC 26 est un jeu de simulation de football développé par EA Vancouver et publié par EA Sports, sorti mondialement le 26 septembre 2025. C'est la troisième entrée de la série EA Sports FC, marquant la 33e itération globale des simulations de football de la marque. Le jeu est disponible sur PC (Windows), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch et Nintendo Switch 2, propulsé par le moteur graphique Frostbite.
Le titre se présente comme une simulation sportive complète, offrant divers modes de jeu. Il introduit notamment des Défis Manager Live à narration, ainsi qu'un nouveau système d'Archetypes qui définit les styles de jeu des footballeurs en se basant sur de vrais joueurs. La description officielle évoque également un tout nouveau mode de compétition internationale avec 48 équipes nationales, de nouveaux stades authentiques et la présence d'Icônes et de Héros internationaux dans le mode Carrière de pro.
Pour les éditions, le cover star de l'édition ultime est Zlatan Ibrahimović, tandis que l'édition standard met en avant Jude Bellingham, qui fait son retour, et Jamal Musiala, qui fait ses débuts en couverture. Le jeu est distribué avec une protection Denuvo et son prix de base est de 69,99 EUR.
Concernant l'accueil critique et des joueurs, les avis sont partagés. La presse a salué le titre, avec des publications comme MeuPlayStation suggérant qu'il pourrait entrer dans le « Hall of Fame » de la franchise aux côtés de classiques. TechRadar Gaming a quant à lui décrit le jeu comme un véritable festin de modes raffinés, de mécaniques de gameplay améliorées et de likenesses de joueurs jamais meilleures. En revanche, certains joueurs ont exprimé leur insatisfaction, regrettant notamment une sensation de lenteur et de manque de réactivité, un manque de nouveautés dans le contenu ou le graphisme par rapport aux éditions précédentes, ainsi que la présence de bugs.
Sur le plan technique et de la durée de jeu, il faut compter environ 25 heures et demie pour traverser le mode histoire principal. Pour les joueurs souhaitant tout compléter, le temps de jeu peut s'étendre à environ 411 heures. Le score agrégé de Metacritic est de 78, celui d'OpenCritic de 80.

This time, the developers have genuinely listened to the fans, rather than just making empty promises. The game – including its servers – feels fast and smooth, making it simply enjoyable to play again. You don’t boot up FC 26 because you feel you have to, but because you want to. In terms of new modes, FC 26 isn’t revolutionary, and graphically we would have liked to see a bit more progress. Still, that hardly takes away from the overall package, which once again guarantees hundreds of hours of fun. »

« The people complaining about this fc 26 trash are not wrong. Dont defend these EA clowns. Do you know how slow/unresponsive the damn game is?? Press a button, takes like 0.5 seconds to 1 full second to do the action. Just a second might seem quick but that is *alot* in a sport game like fc. Also, randomly 'unstable connection' when my wifi and PS4 are fine. And just blatant *scripting* it very much seems. Tackle my opponent, always goes right back to them. Also, headers are damn unscoreable in this game. Genuinely. Stats dont mean anything. A 5'6-5'8, 60kg woman player winning headers and physical duels against 6'6, 95kg men. Absolute nonsense. Another thing; actually building a team. Objectives take hours for frankly mediocre players. Evolutions and rewards are ****. Max is like 93 ovr for almost all of them. And the ones you can use to get 98 ovr players are normally super expensive and very rare. Every pack you get is just *untradeables*. How the f*ck do you get coins then? Just have to grind rivals, sbcs and champions (rivals which u only get rewards once a week) and all of which have the aforementioned problems above. I didnt even buy this game with my own money and i still want a refund. Absolute rubbish. »
« Pro clubs player here, and when i say this i really mean it, this is the worst fifa game of all time, you're not safe anywhere, you go to pro clubs, you got bad ai defending, bots giving the ball to the opponent, goalkeeper scoring on himself, bad marking and positioning from the ai defenders, horrible league matchmaking (i get matched up against 5-7 people while i play with 1 friend 2v7 basically), bots doing unnecessary crosses to each other, but i never saw one of these things happen to my opponent? I swear to god all of the weirdest things in this game happened to me, once the referee robbed us from a penalty inside the box and gave us a freekick outside the box like its gonna fix it, and you got ultimate team, the goalkeeper being 93 rated and still doesnt save ****, my LW raphinha with rapid+ cant get past slow defenders, so many rebounds, and especially when i tackle the opponent they somehow get the ball back, and once my opponent was going 1 on 1 with the keeper, i successfully tackled him, but the script gave him the ball back and he shot, but the gk saved it, but saving wasnt enough then he got the ball back again and scored, this game will ruin your life im telling you right now »

« Playing this game is a masterclass in psychological torture. The AI teammates possess the defensive instincts of a traffic cone and the positioning awareness of someone lost in deep space. You call for the ball, they take one pathetic half-step, and watch you get triple-teamed while standing fifty yards behind our own goal. Absolute garbage coding, zero responsiveness, and a guaranteed controller-breaker. 0/10. Absolute joke ****. »
