Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern
Sorti le 5 juillet 2005, Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern s'inscrit dans la lignée des jeux d'aventure de type « Myst-clone » à vocation éducative, rappelant les productions d'autrefois du studio Cryo. L'intrigue transporte le joueur à l'époque préhistorique, au cœur des célèbres grottes de Lascaux en France, haut lieu de l'héritage artistique des hommes de Cro-Magnon. Le protagoniste, Arok, est un jeune chasseur-cueilleur davantage porté sur la peinture que sur la chasse ; il découvre rapidement que ses fresques pariétales lui confèrent le pouvoir d'influencer son environnement, une mécanique centrale qui l'accompagne dans sa quête d'un mystérieux mentor.
Le titre a été édité par The Adventure Company, Akella, MC2-Microïds et Tetraedge Games, et se trouve accessible sur PC (Microsoft Windows), Mac, iOS ainsi que Windows Mobile. Du côté de l'accueil critique, la presse a salué plusieurs aspects de l'œuvre : BonusStage a notamment mis en avant une trame épique portée par la connaissance et l'histoire, une musique et une ambiance à couper le souffle, sans oublier un univers photoréaliste propice à l'exploration. Gamer's Hell a pour sa part souligné l'originalité de sa base de données documentaires intégrée. Sur Metacritic, un joueur a quant à lui prévenu que son avis contenait des révélations sur l'intrigue.
