GMW3 100/100

« Firewall Zero Hour has managed to avoid many of the common pitfalls of VR online multiplayers and add its own interesting twist to the military FPS genre. The lobby system could use some improvements, but otherwise its a finely crafted title that will be of great interest to FPS fans. »

Gaming Nexus 95/100

« Firewall: Zero Hour is an incredibly immersive experience that will appeal to military shooter fans, as well as fans of very well-made VR experiences. It is hard to express how deep and involving this game can be, it simply has to be played to be believed. Though I have a few minor quibbles with the progression and the flow of matches, I still whole-heartedly recommend this amazing multiplayer experience. Firewall is a system seller, and playing it one realizes that yes, VR might just be here to stay. »

UploadVR 90/100

« For what it is, Firewall Zero Hour defies the odds by delivering a multiplayer-focused VR shooter that actually lives up to its potential. If you don’t have a PS Aim controller yet, then you should buy one for this game even though it technically supports DualShock 4 as well. If you don’t have a PSVR headset yet, then you should buy one for this game. With a few improvements and additions, First Contact could turn what is already a must-have PSVR game into a genre-defining one. »

TheSixthAxis 90/100

« Firewall: Zero Hour is essential for PlayStation VR owners. Despite this being First Contact’s debut game, it flawlessly executes on what the studio set out to do: to create PSVR’s first must-have multiplayer shooter. It may even sway some of those yet to purchase one of Sony’s high-tech headsets. »

GameOver.gr 90/100

« Conventional gaming in VR done right in a system seller fashion. Dust your Aim Controllers cause you're in for a treat. »

PlaySense 90/100

« Firewall Zero Hour raises the bar for all VR shooters that follow. You'll need the Aim controller to get the most out of it, but it's more than worth it. The thrill of 4-on-4 with live players is sure to fill your friends list and there really is nothing quite like this. Let's hope the online lobbies remain filled for quite some time because if there ever was a game that deserved it on PlayStation VR, this is it. Buy this now. »

God is a Geek 90/100

« I thoroughly enjoyed the VR elements including it's stellar gameplay. Matches are intense, and the focus on team play does the game justice. »

Everyeye.it 88/100

« It has a major flaw (the migration of the host) and some smudges that prevent it from doing something more, but the virtual reality, in this new season, starts from here. »

« I am a graduate of Dominican University's Master of Library and Information Science Degree Program. I studied the video game industry for three years with Amazon's Luna Controller, Nintendo Switch Lite, Playstation IV and V, and XBox Series S and One S. I am surprised that I am having problems with Firewall Zero Hour. In fact, I contacted the FTC twice because Firewall Zero Hour may be a Call of Duty competitor. Remember the sled in one of America's favorite movies Citizen Kane. In this case there is a white light gun. According to Video Game History, the gun accessory gets a lot of support from the gaming community. Could the FTC case be someone' elses anger at being denied the use of an $80 Playstation gun accessory? There is a $69 billion dollar deal in which the Department of Justice is arguing that Microsoft would be in violation of the FTC AntiTrust Laws. Well, I had a $300 used Playstation IV and it blocked my use of the TV via two HDMI ports and then also denied me use of the Playstation VR headset. I just got a new $300 Playstation 4 and it just pulled a couple of tricks. First to make the image to big so that there would be eye strain. Of course you should be able to recalibrate the image by going to the VR section in the system file. Now it's claiming that "The add-on for the following applications is corrupted." How many people can still see the white sled in the fire? That Playstation iV gun accessory will be the main image in the minds of the judges before they decide to block the $69 billion Activision deal with Microsoft. Now let me contact the FTC for the third time. »

« Probably the best VR tactical FPS released, still not perfect but that's based on my personal bias that the VR tech isn't there yet. »

Henkes17 9/10

« Really good gameplay, love the guns details, the attachments and how the sights work, the non-toxic community, the only thing that doesn't make this game 10/10 is the dead lobbies »

drcoomer 9/10

« An absolutely amazing experience all around. It takes gaming to a whole new level with the use of the AIM controller in VR. It's simply one of the most impressive VR titles (and for that matter, gaming titles in general) I've ever played. And to top it all off, it has a great community where I found some great teammates to play with every night. The gameplay is awesome with a just a few very minor flaws (slow movement, long loading screens, etc.) But these are things that are easy to look past when the game is so fun to play! Overall score: 9.3/10 »

Shenandoah 9/10

« The best tactical multiplayer shooter for VR today. It has the quality of counter strike, so this could also be a candidate for E-Sport tournaments. There is a lack of campaign and also playing as solo is boring, so this game really shines on multiplayer. The aim controller is really well done implemented and a must-have for this game. »

Trustedreviewe 9/10

« This is for me the best PSVR game, a must have for tactical FPS lovers. Very immersive game play with aim controller, new maps keep on coming thank you and well done FCE. »

TheEngineerGuy 8/10

« Firewall Zero Hour has great gameplay that makes you want to come back. The tracking is intuitive and is enhanced with the Aim controller. However, a lack of host migration is incredibly irritating, as an entire play session can be interrupted due to one person. The lack of multiple rounds is also a bummer. So while this game is great fun, it needs a few gameplay adjustments and some backend improvements before it deserves a 10. »
