Gameplay de Just Dance

GamingXP 78/100

« Just Dance is a really fun party game. But you should have some sense of rhythm. Playing with up to four players makes the game an awesome party experience. »

GameFocus 78/100

« Goofy, fun and sometimes ridiculous, Just Dance is a great little game that stops short of being fantastic because of a lack of gameplay options and janky motion-sensing. It’s just not precise enough to appeal to a really competitive gamer, but then again, that’s not audience they’re going for. »

Pelit (Finland) 72/100

« The first actual dancing game. The music selection is great, but the movement detection should be a little bit better. It's quite fun with friends, nonetheless. [June 2010] »

Eurogamer 70/100

« Plenty of people would rather sit on the sofa, thanks, and play a proper videogame with guns, and good for them. But small girls, show-offs and people who are too drunk to care in the first place will have a great time with Just Dance. »

VideoGamer 70/100

« It's not up to the high standard set by other music games like SingStar and Guitar Hero, but it's good enough to please wannabe dancers. »

Nintendo Gamer 69/100

« Technically flawed but undeniably fun with the right company (and probably several crates of beer). [Mar 2010, p.66] »

GamerNode 65/100

« Just Dance can be a whole lot of fun for the right audience, and that audience is sure to love it despite its very basic nature. In any event, it's at least worth renting to laugh with (at) your friends. »

NintendoWorldReport 65/100

« In a way, Just Dance is just like an up- and-coming dancer. It's very rough but shows promise, especially when played with friends. »

« You know, I never understood the hype for the Just Dance series. I never had even played one of these games, so I thought to myself, "Hey! I should try the first game!" I booted it up, played for about 10 minutes and realized that it's definitely the first Just Dance game. I didn't understand how it was this game that spawn a series with a vast number of these. I realized that this was a Wii dancing game. Of course everyone loved it. Everyone had a Wii. However, it's just so lifeless. The menus make me feel nothing when I pick a song. These songs are for sure a time capsule. The motion controls are laughably bad. Even if you follow the moves perfect, you'll miss. I understand it's a Wii game from 2009, but this was a mediocre Wii game at the time, and now it's a soulless game that everyone forgot about as they're playing the new one, which I'm sure is the same game with more modern songs and better controls »

« I appreciate this game, because it is first in the series. And the most horrible one. The budget was veery low. I like the songs and the dances, they are not too hard, because it's mostly basic moves, sometimes too repetitive. The tracking doesn't work most of the time »

« The first Just Dance game ever made. The only game to be released in the 2000s. This has to be good, right? NO! The graphics are horrendous, the soundtrack/features are lacklustre, and the controls are ABYSMAL! Most of the time, when I do a move the best I can, I get Xs! This is way more shovelware than an actual quality game. No wonder this game has a 49 on Metacritic. I hate it. Get it away. »

Fernanmaxi 10/10

« A game that broke so badly that it ended up being a complete legend of the genre. »
