Map Map: A Game About Maps, développé et publié par Pipapo Games, est sorti le 28 mai 2026 sur PC (Microsoft Windows). Ce titre indépendant mêlant aventure et simulation place le joueur dans la peau d'un cartographe au sein d'une équipe d'aventuriers, chargé d'explorer des îles idylliques pour y retrouver un trésor légendaire perdu. En solo, le joueur commence avec une carte ne montrant que le littoral et doit s'appuyer sur son sens de l'orientation pour repérer les points de repère, ruines et sites uniques, en débloquant des outils comme la boussole, le télescope ou le sextant afin de trianguler sa position. Les îles recèlent ruines antiques, animaux sauvages et sentiers cachés récompensant l'observation. La presse a salué l'expérience, TheXboxHub indiquant être fier de recommander un jeu proposant de réaliser soi-même des cartes, tandis que Gamer Social Club, bien que jugeant le titre loin d'être mauvais, a confessé y avoir découvert son dégoût pour l'orientation et la cartographie. Certains joueurs sur Steam, après avoir noté la prise en main difficile, ont trouvé le jeu vite addictif, l'un d'eux le résumant simplement par « top ». Le temps de complétion pour un joueur exhaustif est estimé à neuf heures et demie et le prix s'élève à 14,99 euros.

And the game pointed that out? Yes. Yes, it did...Map Map is going to be a great addition to someone’s Steam library who truly loves solving a puzzle that does not have all the pieces in the box. And to them I say, I hope that you truly enjoy this game! If you, like me, are someone who frequently finds themselves getting turned around when walking in the city or driving, then you may enjoy the story that the game has to offer, but won’t find much to enjoy about it from there. »
