MotoGP 25, développé et édité par Milestone, est sorti le 30 avril 2025 sur PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S et Nintendo Switch. Propulsé par l'Unreal Engine 5, le titre propose de vivre la saison 2025 du championnat officiel dans ses moindres détails, en incarnant les pilotes de la grille pour dompter les motos et circuits emblématiques. L'expérience mise sur un réalisme accru grâce à une conception sonore retravaillée, enregistrée in situ sur les machines officielles, et à l'introduction des MotoGP Stewards chargés d'assurer l'équité en course.
Côté jouabilité, le jeu structure son offre autour de deux expériences distinctes : une approche Arcade axée sur l'adrénaline et une expérience Pro qui simule la consommation, l'électronique et chaque détail du circuit. Le système de difficulté adaptative, les aides neurales et un nouveau didacticiel visent à rendre la simulation accessible. Le mode Carrière, baptisé MotoGP Legend, permet de faire évoluer sa monture, de gérer des « Turning Points » au fil de la saison et de tisser son réseau dans le paddock pour influencer le marché des pilotes. De nouvelles disciplines « Race Off » font leur apparition, offrant la possibilité de piloter des Motard, Flat Track et Minibikes sur quatre pistes dédiées et deux environnements, avec une progression physique de l'avatar et des accessoires à débloquer.
Le volet multijoueur propose des courses classées avec un cross-play total entre toutes les plateformes, à l'exception de la Nintendo Switch. Une suite exhaustive d'éditeurs permet par ailleurs de personnaliser son expérience. Pour venir à bout de l'histoire principale, il faut compter environ neuf heures et demie, tandis que les complétistes y consacreront près de trente-quatre heures et demie. Le jeu est commercialisé au prix de 49,99 euros.
L'accueil critique et public se révèle contrasté. The Games Machine salue un opus très solide en mode Pro et rafraîchissant dans son nouveau mode Arcade, confirmant la série dans le genre de la simulation moto. À l'inverse, IGN Turkey rapporte de nombreux plantages ayant émaillé son expérience. Du côté des joueurs, les avis sur Metacritic et Steam font état de critiques sévères pointant des erreurs techniques, un gameplay jugé moyen voire faible, des problèmes de contrôle de la moto et un contenu jugé faiblard, certains évoquant un développement précipité et la présence de bugs.

While the foundation remains familiar, noticeable improvements have been made, particularly in the handling of Moto3 and Moto2 bikes, along with a refined visual presentation thanks to Unreal Engine 5 and a series of minor new features.The AI performs reliably, and the management of race penalties is accurate and timely, with MotoGP 25 taking another step forward without disrupting the strong groundwork laid by its predecessors.Some flaws persist, however: replays remain limited, now allowing viewers to watch only about ten laps, an even greater restriction compared to last year. Additionally, the inability to customize the use of rewinds remains an issue, and on PlayStation 5, the use of adaptive triggers feels less immersive than before.It remains to be seen whether future patches might address these shortcomings and rebalance rider performance to further enhance the experience — potentially raising the overall score by half a point. Nonetheless, MotoGP 25 confirms itself as a consistently engaging and high-quality title. »

« The gameplay of this game is trash. The graphics are trash too, but especially the gameplay — that’s the biggest negative point. It’s neither arcade nor simulator. When you switch to arcade, it becomes even worse. Controlling the bike is awful, taking corners feels terrible. It’s not satisfying at all. The last MotoGP that was actually good and fun to ride was the MotoGP 08 on PlayStation 2. »
