Players' reviews

Sandrock's 400+ Hours Maestro: It has it all- quests, crafting, building, relationships, skill progression, farming, fishing, holidays, weather system, mounts, dungeons, combat, and a rich and detailed world/story.

My Time Devotee: I have almost 80 hours in the game and I'm around 2/3 of the way through the main story, it's massive. It really immerses you in the interesting world they've created.

Expert Sim Sorcerer: My opinion is there is nothing quite like the My Time games on the market. I like them even better than SDV (and that's supposed to be the cozy gaming gold standard) but I wasn't really invested in the story or cared about the characters that much.

My Time Restaurant

Chongqing!"The Cyberpunk City"A modern, sprawling municipality with a rich history spanning more than 2000 years: an ancient kingdom, a war-time capital; a place where the only thing hotter than the weather is the food, and the only thing hotter than the food is the passion we feel for this little place called "home..."  ...Of course, none of you are interested in that, you just want to come and take selfies in front of whatever neon-lit staircase is trending on whichever social media service you're currently cripplingly addicted to. And selfie you have! By the droves. By the millions. Right in our back yard. But here at Pathea, we don't get mad, we get with the times! Rather than sit around grumbling about how all the tourists are wandering into our apartment buildings and pushing all the elevator buttons, we've decided to cash in, baby!Introducing……THE CHONGQING JIEFANGBEI MY TIME RESTAURANTThat's right, we're proud to announce that we're boldly going where.. some... have gone... and mostly failed... before! But surely that won't happen to us!How does it work?Don't you just hate those "build it yourself" type restaurants with a hundred different ingredients and no advice given on what might work well together? Like, come on, you're the chef, tell me what's good here!Well, we've taken that annoyance and turned it into a full-blown monument to human suffering! The My Time Inc. Food and Fun for the Whole Family Corporate Sponsored Gastronomical Experience is the first and ONLY restaurant that allows you to BUILD YOUR OWN MEAL, the My Time Way™! A way that is so unintuitive, so impenetrable, so baffling there's almost NO chance you'll end up with anything halfway edible; that's the FUN! Every meal is a roll of the dice, or... like opening up a loot box...?Step 1: TEAR BOUNTY FROM THE EARTHGrab your Axe, Pickaxe, and/or Pickhammer and start gathering in our first ever, real life "Abandoned Ruins!" Chop down our patented Noodle Trees, crack open deposits of Garlic Ore, shovel raw tofu into mine carts... you can even blow apart our spice caverns using REAL DYNAMITE! 10+ please, big kids only! We'll even have real herbs you can pluck out of our Planter Boxes, grown fresh by our staff! Good frickin' luck with that, though, it's cloudy and foggy like 360 days out of the year here.Disclaimer: "Cheese-lung" is not a real illness that can be contracted from our mines, it's all in your head.Step 2: SHAPE CHAOS INTO FORMTake your raw materials and shape them into yummy bite-sized goodness! Use a Civil Cutter to process your Noodle Lumber, turn your condiment ore into bars at the Furnace, blend any undesirables, go home with a souvenir you can treasure for life by injuring yourself on an Industrial Processor! Step 3: ASSEMBLY STATIONNow it's time for all your hard work to pay off! Kinda!Take the mishmash of oddly shaped ingredients you just made and take them to a REAL Assembly Station! That's right, it's a REAL flat steel platform, made of real steel and real flat, where each customer has two and a half minutes each to try to make sense of what they've crafted.Step 4: ENJOY!From here on out, the My Time restaurant is an ordinary restaurant, although the experience getting here was anything but ordinary, wouldn't you say!?!?And after you've loved us the first time, here are some reasons to come back for seconds! \Due to the unanticipated overwhelming opening hype, we’re looking for several "Master Chefs" to join our team! No age limit, no prior real-world experience required, low education a bonus, actually.Required Credentials: 100% recipe unlocks in both My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock. We provide top-tier, state-of-the-art equipment: Cooking Pots, Advanced Cooking Stations, Grills, Drying Racks, and Blenders. No training necessary, just stand by the machines and press the "E" key to create culinary masterpieces instantly!Send your "Resume" to: [email protected] Roadmap for 2027:-Give gifts to our staff to force them into friendship-Less reliance on Carbon Steel Bars-Commission Board: Make meals for other people!-Using mad science to breed a real, live Yakmel-We'll have you guys build a bridge to somewhere-An extremely punishing stamina system (run out, we send you home)-Research tree for unlocking new ingredients-Bug fixes: Clipping through floor, cloned NPCs, etc.In conclusionHow much could such an amazing experience cost? "This couldn't be cheap!" you may be thinking. And that's where you'd be right! Still, due to some questionable business practices and shady under the table dealings, you, the customer, can enjoy the My Time Restaurant Experience for the low, low price of...600 GOLS per HEAD!And by Gols, we mean USD. (4,123.83 RMB)But don't worry, we're always thinking of our fans: check out these cool ways you can earn yourself a discount for sticking with us through thick and thin:Discount Table (With Proof of Purchase):My Time at Sandrock or My Time at Portia - 10% DiscountMTaS & MTaP - 20% DiscountAbove + All Sandrock DLC - 30% DiscountAbove + Everforward + Let's School - Heck, you may as well just take the restaurant off our hands; we're having second thoughts at this point.See you there!

GameGrin 95/100

« My Time at Sandrock is everything I wanted from a sequel to My Time At Portia. The time you spend in this game is well worth it, so don’t sleep on this gem. »

Screen Rant 90/100

« My Time at Sandrock is incredibly difficult to put down, and is an absolute must-have for any fan of the genre. »

Impulsegamer 88/100

« But… if you are looking for a reasonably easy going, not overly violent (hey there are chickens that fire rockets at you… it’s not totally peaceful), life/building sim, then My Time At Sandrock is a decent option… you can certainly sink a number of hours into it if you get into it. »

IGN Italia 85/100

« A good sequel that improves in meaningful ways an already nice game. If you like social activities games such Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon you can't go wrong with this. »

COGconnected 85/100

« After playing Portia, and then seeing My Time at Sandrock announced, I was skeptical. How can Pathea make this work again? And in a desert of all places? Well, I have to say I was surprised and impressed. Pathea has a very creative team behind this world of theirs. On top of the quality of life improvements, and the new multiplayer component, My Time at Sandrock recaptures the feeling of “I’ll do one more day” at the end of every day. Not only that, but now I’m excited for the prospect of My Time at Highwind or My Time at Atara, just to see what can be done with a new part of this world. »

ZTGD 85/100

« I loved my time in Sandrock, it genuinely feels innovative within the farming/cozy games that have come out lately. As I said it My Time at Sandrock offers a ton of content for players to tackle, even though it can be overwhelming at times. The PC version also allows players to play the game co-op, at the time of this writing its not planned to come to the other platforms but that may change. The colorful art style, desert setting and memorable characters make for a fantastic adventure that players of the genre shouldn’t skip. »

Checkpoint Gaming 80/100

« My Time at Sandrock is a cosy yet action-packed farming simulator that has you not only building up a dying town, but uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the quaint lives of the inhabitants. With every new update, the game has been getting stronger and stronger. And while admittedly there are some shortcomings with accessibility and glitches, My Time at Sandrock still manages to be a title fans of the farming sim will absolutely love. »

IGN 80/100

« Whether collecting resources, building items, or passing the day away playing minigames with townies, My Time at Sandrock is a joy. It's clear the team behind Sandrock took lessons from My Time at Portia to build significant quality-of-life improvements to boost almost every main feature, though dungeon design is still a little too basic to be consistently fun. Even though it doesn't nail everything it attempts and it's got a few odd visual bugs, it's hard to linger on those when the townspeople's golden personalities and Sandrock's general unrelenting dedication to goofiness outshine any minor stumbles. The new multiplayer mode is also another fun way to take on building up this desert town, with different challenges that make playing both it and the campaign a great time. »

PrincessRose 8/10

« I enjoyed playing my Time at Portia so of course I had to buy My Time at ****'s good, has improvements on the first game such as can save anywhere.I didn't realise that there was a second page for researching machines. Thought I had to wait to be able to cook from a **** had no idea how to cook or tailor until I was in Autumn of 1st year.I love the starlight DLC outfits the dresses Mi-an and Amirah get but disappointed they are only for them and not your character.I guess that since it's an Indie game clothing is the least of their concerns if you have a limited budget. I did buy most of the DLC's as Pathea do make good games. And I want to help support them make even better games. I can't wait for the next My Time as there is nothing else with the same vibe as the My Time games.I experienced a few bugs in the game such as Logan bugged out he was just walking around near the train station spinning around in circles. And my character becoming invisible when she hops off her **** magic mirror is annoying, buggy and not worth hiring. It just follows me around saying the fuel in my machines are depleted even though they are all **** game has fantastic voice acting with some actors voicing multiple characters and it's amazing how different they can make each of them sound.I liked the games story and most of the characters. They are done well. I like trying to befriend and help everyone. I named my workshop Get Fixed as I feel like Iam fixing everyone as well as the town and desert. Fang is my most favourite. So of course I make him my husband. Children are poorly done. They just look like clones of your builder and not at all like the other parent besides a slight eye colour highlight. They aren't worth having as they just mostly waste your time though it is kind of cute when your spouse interacts with them. They just wander around town by themselves and don't go to school with the other children. They are just like high maintenance pets and not an engaging family member. And other NPC's don't acknowledge them besides when they are born, they dump a pile of gifts on **** game is like your playing field. I looked up what happens about character relationships you can date multiple as long as they don't find out and most if they do will forgive you if you gift an apology bear, but some wont forgive if caught such as Fang which is understandable after what he's been through.Though it seems like you can marry, divorce and remarry as much as you want. You just have to build up the relationship again and they have no resentment towards you even Fang. It's a bit unrealistic but I understand that they don't want to limit players.I would prefer if the game had risk and real consequence for bad behaviour such as cheating and divorce. Such as characters would react more realistically and be upset and/or angry. Though I watched on Youtube when Fang is divorced what he says is **** most seem to not act any different except lose relationship points.I only want to romance and marry 1 character and not likely to play more than once to romance others I like. There are missions you can only get if dating, but Iam not bothered if I miss out as I already have so much to **** would be nice if I could play matchmaker and match the rest of the bachelors and bachelorettes together to make more families. I thought some of them would be so perfect together, it's a shame they all stay single.I don't like the house building in the game. Stairs take up so much room and it looks much smaller inside than the outside. It's not intuitive and I struggle with ****'s so frustrating so I just use one of the premade houses. I preferred what they had in **** can annoyingly miss out on things as I didn't go visit Nia at the moisture farm so it locked me out of being able to buy and plant rhino horn catcus and desert **** is a very long game and often it has too much time in between getting the next mission.Even so I didn't want the game to ever end and I feel sad like Iam leaving all my friends **** game has a lot of different things to do. I never felt bored playing it. It's a really good game even with all the bugs and things I don't like there is a lot more I do **** my time games are so unique, there is no other cozy games that are done this well with so much variety.I'd rate it 8/10 I really enjoyed playing the game. »

« the refiner ruins this you never have to make new equips or weapons since you can just keep refining your current gear and it ends up getting the exact same stats (attack def etc) as any of the other high level gear! thankfully i got it when it was on sale couldn't imagine paying full price for this! didn't waste my time with any of the useless dlc either. »

Ihsanandgames 8/10

« If u guys love My Time at Portia, u will love this game too. As someone who loved My Time at Portia very much, I was waiting impatiently for Sandrock for years. Finally, when it was dropped to a reasonable price, I bought it immediately and put it on hold in my library to play when I had time. With the arrival of summer vacation, I decided it was time and sat down to play it. Although I had trouble understanding some parts at first (because it hadn't been a long time since I played the first game), it didn't take long to get used to it. When I started the game, it was impossible not to notice the improved graphics, and this was satisfying enough. I wouldn't be lying if I said that I was fascinated by the atmosphere and graphics, especially when I moved to the desert area. Designing the main character as a more adult was also a very good decision. When I looked back at the first game, I realized that my main character looked like a 10 year old child, lol. However, there is one thing I can't understand: while our character could talk in the first game, this game doesn't have that feature. But why??? Why can't the sequel have a feature that even the first game has? This really bothers me. Also; The seasonal transitions that fascinated me in the first game have been minimized because this game takes place in the arid city of Sandrock. In other words, if we didn't look at the calendar, we almost wouldn't know which season it is. Note: This breaks down slightly towards the end of the game, but since the game is mostly over, you find yourself reacting by saying, "What did I get out of this?" However, I think one of the biggest draws in the first game was that each season evoked a distinct, fairytale atmosphere. Each season would have a special event, creating a warm atmosphere. They've kept the events in this game as well, but unfortunately, I didn't get that sweet feeling from the first game. Then, as I progressed through the game, when I reached a certain amount of money, I decided to expand my land and improve my house. (By the way, getting rich in this game was harder than the first. Even after playing for about 180 hours, I didn't feel very rich, let me tell you.) When I started expanding my house, I realized it was overly complicated. And when I read many complaints about this online, I realized I wasn't the only one. I didn't understand why they did such a risky thing. They probably realized this later and organized a house design contest among players, where you could pay in-game money to the winners and build your own house. Still, I can't say I fully embraced any of them, but since I couldn't do it myself, I had to use one of them. On top of all this, the character I wanted to romance settled in sandrock towards the end of the game was particularly annoying. By the time I got married, all the quests in the game had already been completed. As a result, I'd already finished the game in my head before my child even grew up. These were all negatives, but I have to say, they didn't stop me from enjoying the game. I still enjoyed 160 of my 180 hours. The reason I didn't enjoy the full 20 hours is because the main story was slightly extended and the drawbacks I mentioned above. If this game were three-quarters the size, I'm sure we would have enjoyed a much more refined product. To summarize, My Time at Sandrock doesn't give an unique experience to predecessor. However; it still has the taste we adore. »

« It has been a very long time since I got addicted to a game. I have played this game almost 100 hours in 2 weeks. It is so addictive and the social part of the game is really making you feel connected to the other characters in the town. Please keep it coming. I love My Time series. Well done Pathea Games! »

« So I bought this game plus a copy for my wife and we were super excited to play through it together. We started playing but the more we played the weirder it seemed that nothing was happening, no story was going on and no interesting quests were showing up. Turns out that multiplayer in this game is a storyless sandbox mode, which completely ruins the entire reason for even playing it. You are just building for the sake of it. The game also doesn't TELL you any of this up front, before buying or when starting to play, happily pretending that you are going to play some version of the actual game. You are left to figure this out yourself off the back of your own wasted money and time. I basically bought two copies of a bait-and-switch. I would gladly refund it if I still could, it was nothing but a big disappointment and a total waste of time and money. »

aneandes 10/10

« I'm a big fan of the My Time- series and the developers. For me their narrative and art team are a treasure, delivering quality work since Portia. Sandrock delivers some of the best quality of life features in farm sims that I've seen, such as not needing to carry objects with you to deliver them to quest NPCs or for crafting. Later in the main story you can automate a lot of the care for your farm as well. This alone is a time-saver that helps you focus on socializing and exploring. Cons: - I miss a Portia's mining feature in which you could reveal, though digging, massive robots and other interesting unique objects - I skipped on a lot of house-building and house customization because the system felt a bit too click-intensive. sometimes, editing a wall returned all my decor to my chest, so that bothered me a bit as well - I wish chests had even more automate sorting options, such as not having to manually set up one chest for food, another for building materials, another for relics, etc. However, even with those things in mind I have more than 100 hours and completed the entire story, I recommend the My Time series to all farm sim fans. The NPCs have an incredible amount of lines and the world feels very lively. I can't wait for their new game, My Time at Evershine. »

Öğrenmesi kolay, ses ve grafikleri harika, hikaye anlatımı indie oyunlarla kıyaslarsan muhteşem. Oyun seni yüzlerce saat tekrara düşürmeden ve sıkmadan sürükleyebilir.
