Nidhogg 2
Nidhogg 2

« It's easy to suggest Nidhogg 2 on its own merits. It has expanded on the wonderful mechanics of the original and has one of the best soundtracks in recent memory. There isn't much content here for the solo player, but if you've got friends coming over for some friendly competition, the night would not be complete without Nidhogg 2. »
« Despite the obvious changes, Nidhogg 2 absolutely succeeds at keeping the game’s spirit alive and just as enjoyable. »
« Nidhogg 2 is a unique and incredibly intricate game that succeeds in sucking you into its addictive nature, whether you are a newcomer to the series or a veteran looking for a fresh challenge. »
« Nidhogg 2 is a game you can quickly lose an afternoon to, and you won't mind one bit. Few games are as friendly to players as all skill levels, while still providing intense matches and a few good laughs. Don't let the simple controls fool you. There's a lot of strategy to devise, particularly when you get continually matched up against your closest pals. The humor is delightful, and sometimes a little gross, but the cartoonish style makes it all work in tandem with the swordplay. »
« It's like, how much more Nidhogg could this be? And the answer is none. None more Nidhogg. »
« If you loved the original, this is just as good, with a great new art style and some nice changes to combat. »
« Nidhogg 2 is a brutally bizarre tug of war with swords, an attractive grim spectacle of steel and blood that just so happens to be one of the most addictive experiences of the year. It’s a bigger take on the magnificent original game, while avoiding feature bloat as it retains its simple charm with its ghastly and delightful new art direction. »
« Nidhogg 2 is better than the first chapter, but its core mechanics are the same. »

« I get the opportunity to test Nidhogg 2 in a free weekend and I must confess that I liked it quite a lot. The game is simple, get to the other side of the map by defeat the enemies that you find in your way. The mechanics are simple, easy to learn and master. Just move around, jump and attack but I must suggest if you are using a keyboard assign your own keys right from the start, since the original key configuration used was a bit strange. Visually the game is pretty OK. The graphics style is quite nice and the color pallet is awesome. You will see what I am talking about and how everything going to be painted when you slay your enemy for the first time. Overall a very nice game for a casual game season... I fully recommend it. »
« An epic couch multiplayer game. Good mindless fun, don't overthink it. Even non-gamers can pick this up and laugh! »
« Nidhogg 2 is an improvement on its predecessor in almost every way. While the core gameplay is still the same, there is an added depth that gives the sequel even great variety. The single-player is not as noteworthy as its multiplayer, but if you regularly host guests, Nidhogg 2 is a great time. »
« Meh. The first game was cool for the concept and its semplicity. This is a enhanced version with very strange graphics and new weapons and stages (appreciated). But I really can't digest the way this game looks and feels »
« The game is extremely funny and fun, playing with friends is pure fun, but the game needs more content, it can become repetitive if it continues the way it is, but it can improve »
