Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

« Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a superb Metroidvania that reignites the franchise in exciting ways and only gets better the longer you play it. Meticulously crafted platforming mixed with exhilarating combat makes for a game that is nearly impossible to put down. »
« Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is an absolute triumph, charting the future for this fallen franchise. Here’s hoping it finds its audience because it would be a tragedy to have something this good lost to time once again. »
« A Superb metroidvania amazingly balanced. It can conquer newcomers and leave a sweet taste in the mouth of those who really love these kind of labyrinths with platforms, action, habilities and puzzles. »
« The combat system, the audiovisual part, the boss fights, the controls, the performance, the enemies.... Everything there is to mention about Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is excellent. This is the best Prince of Persia game to date and a brilliant addition to the genre. Fan of Metroidvanias or the Persian Prince? You must play this game. »
« Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is an excellent metroidvania and should certainly be remembered among the best of the genre. I was surprised at several moments throughout the adventure, whether by the incredible level design, combat and movement fluidity, interesting powers and much more. This is a title that shows Ubisoft at its best and marks an excellent start to the year for the developer and all the fans. »
« Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is one of the best metroidvania we have played and a splendid return that we did not imagine even in our wildest dreams. »
« The Lost Crown makes it hard to put the controller down, constantly urging players to follow its paths just a little further. Following its persistent pull to explore more of Mount Qaf is easy, though, thanks to how good it feels to do so. Between its first-rate platforming and engaging combat and progression, The Lost Crown’s various parts coalesce into a sublime loop. Gameplay is king, and this Prince of Persia understands that. »
« Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is an exceptional entry in the Metroidvania genre. What started out as an inventive spin on the time-bending franchise became a masterclass in 2D combat and traversal. Players wanting a dense, rich map riddled with secrets will find a happy home. Those wishing for surprisingly deep battles and razor-sharp navigation puzzles won’t be let down. With each new moment, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown becomes timeless. »

« Why did Ubisoft close the studio that made this excellent game? The game is perfect; its music, atmosphere, gameplay, story.. But since it was a game above Ubisoft's standards, I think Ubisoft couldn't stand it and shut down the studio; Ubisoft needs more mediocre games. »
« I spent a significant amount of time with this game, and this is my opinion of it. Pros: The way the story and gameplay elements are blended with the rich culture and mythology of Iran is outstanding. Without a doubt, this is the best game ever made with a strong focus on Iranian culture and history. The gameplay is exciting and constantly evolving. As Sargon's Simurgh powers gradually unlock throughout the adventure, the game never falls into repetition. Rush of the Simurgh, in particular, remained satisfying and fun to use until the very end. The combat system is excellent, offering a wide variety of abilities and tools that make encounters engaging throughout the game. The diverse environments, combined with impressive art direction and solid visuals, make exploration consistently rewarding. Cons: The only real issue I encountered was a few occasional bugs, which could be frustrating at times. Overall, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is an outstanding action-adventure game and one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had in recent years. »
« Truly this is one of the greatest Prince of Persia games ever made! The movement the combat the fluidity this one is a must buy!!! »
« A triumphant return for the franchise. The Lost Crown nails everything a great metroidvania needs: tight combat, inventive time-based platforming, and a world that rewards exploration. Criminally underrated. »

« Um ótimo jogo de plataforma, puzzles interessantes, combate bem desenvolvido e história muito bem fechadinha. »
« After more than 50 hours on PS5 to earn the platinum, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was a big surprise. As my first modern Metroidvania, it completely changed my view of the genre. The gameplay is extremely fluid and precise, and the level design fits the Prince of Persia spirit very well. Boss fights are fun but a bit too easy overall. The main weakness is the story, which feels quite basic, with characters that lack depth. Still, the gameplay alone makes it a very enjoyable and refreshing experience. »
« Surprisingly insanely good. It absolutely nails the metroidvania genre. The atmosphere is incredible, feeling lost and trapped. It makes exploring feel so satisfying. Combat is challenging but fun and the versatile builds you can make are fun. The main character, Sargon, is great. The story is so fleshed out and gripping. The game itself looks so good, all the environments are detailed and beautiful. The animation is top notch and the cutscenes are so well done. Do not sleep on this, despite Ubisoft usually **** this one is a diamond in the rough. »
