Gameplay de Rain World

Gameplay de Rain World

Gameplay de Rain World

GameSpew 90/100

« Not since Mark of the Ninja have I played a stealth game that felt so impactful, lingering in my thoughts long after I put the controller down. »

GameCritics 85/100

« Rain World asks players to get to know its world over dozens and dozens of lives, to figure out each area one at a time, learning to time jumps and hurl spears to earn their right to survive in a ceaselessly hostile environment. It’s a gorgeous jaunt through an alien world full of horrors, like Another World crossed with the open map of a Metroidvania title. With its incredible art design, tight controls, and extremely deep set of gameplay mechanics, this is a truly special platforming experience that anyone with a high tolerance for constant failure owes it to themselves to try out. »

CGMagazine 80/100

« Think Limbo, but more haunting and with better controls, and you'll have a basic idea of what Rain World is about. »

Playstation Official Magazine UK 70/100

« A visually stunning and often satisfying game, but one with more than its fair share of irritating moments. Put up with its nonsense and you'll be rewarded. [May 2017, p.89] »

Playstation Official Magazine Australia 70/100

« Rain World may not be the most forgiving adventure, but stick with it through its trickier times, and when it all comes together it’s capable of producing some genuinely brilliant moments. [June 2017, p76] »

PlayStation Universe 65/100

« The bountiful promise of Rain World’s grim world and the assortment of cunning creatures which inhabit it are summarily undone by fiddly controls and an overwhelmingly punishing level of difficulty. Underneath it all there’s an assuredly decent effort here; it’s just a shame that all but the most masochistically inclined will ever summon the requisite determination to plumb its intimidating depths. »

IGN 63/100

« Rain World is a maddening thing, because of quite how special it could have been. Beautiful environments, incredible animations and enticingly hazy mechanics are fantastic, but the sheer cruelty of how it’s pieced out to the player transcends challenge and becomes an unwanted trial. »

Push Square 60/100

« Rain World has massive world that can be pretty easy to get lost in and enables some real survival adrenaline rushes. Unfortunately, these positive aspects – alongside its exquisite art direction – are at odds with some of the less satisfying aspects: the slightly awkward controls, the overwhelming feeling of almost too much freedom, and the fairly constant threat of losing large chunks of progress take away from the experience. The end result is complicated: it's a game we bounced off quite a lot but one we still greatly appreciate. The game does something new with the genre and it does it well for the most part, making the game worth at the very least giving a look. »

Mids55 10/10

« One of the most immersive and beautiful worlds I have ever immersed myself in. I don't think many games deserve a 10/10, but Rain World definitely does. While it has its flaws, and can be very frustrating at times, the creatures, lore, and general feeling of the world more than make up for it. One of the best games ever made, I recommend it for everyone who likes to immerse themselves into a world, and also enjoys a (sometimes unfair) challenge. »

Timosik 9/10

« Deathes are absolutely unfair, but only from time to time (like 1/10). the more experience you have, the less you die. Accumulating experience is brutal, though »

Sadmeep 7/10

« I am a Rain World lover. I love the story. But my review is 'lower' because of the pain you have to go through. you die once you've lost 10 minutes because you can't progress because your karmas too low. The controls can be fidgety and a pain but they are okay. The body's get in the way of doors. I'd say I'm pretty good at the game, but I still feel like bashing my head when playing »

High_Cream 9/10

« Rain World by far is the most unique game i ever played i never seen a game as unique as this one its ai is standard but utilized in a way that makes it seem revolitionary and is by far the prettiest game i ever played just Play Rain World »

chessegaming 10/10

« Rain world is just the best game ever created it's got good lore, good art , good gameplay, the best ecosystem and AI you'll probably ever see and procedural animation wich will make the game much more immersive. »

Luan_pipokinha 10/10

ALTYN 3/10

« Clunky controls, lots of backtracking, unfair deaths, people praise exploring, but 80% you don't find anything interesting, you just go through repetitive locations »
