Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« The theme, gameplay, and the excellent visuals in Raji: An Ancient Epic make for a fun session every time you fire it up. The limitations are minimal, and the very few critiques I might have are not major detractors. This is a good game and worth a playthrough. »
« Raji: An Ancient Epic is an action, adventure platforming puzzler that draws you in with its deep storyline built upon the foundation of Hindu and Balinese mythology. The action elements are diverse, challenging, and fun. While there are slower story focused interspaced between the action it's in these lulls that players can enjoy the beautiful aesthetics. With light exploration features and jumping/platforming mechanics that pay homage to the early Prince Of Persia games, you'll find a lot to like in this cultural gem! »
« Despite some technical issues and a story that ends too quickly, Raji: An Ancient Epic is a great narrative-driven game that's worth playing. »
« Few 3D action games feature the level of finesse and originality that Raji: An Ancient Epic boasts and it's quite captivating, too. »
« Raji: An Ancient Epic is a beautiful adventure unlike anything we’ve likely seen in video games, let alone the Switch. The gameplay itself is of a strong if unspectacular standard, but it’s the design and the experience which you’re paying for here. »
« A confident first game from Indian studio Nodding Heads Games. Raji: An Ancient Epic features a thematically appropriate player viewpoint, which unfortunately hampers some of the platforming elements, but a simple and surprisingly versatile combat system keeps things interesting. »
« Raji: An Ancient Epic is an incredible adventure that carries the soul of the famed Prince of Persia. Although there are some technical issues, its intriguing narrative, immense world and core gameplay will keep you hooked. »
« Raji: An Ancient Epic is a strong debut for Nodding Head Games but it’s just a shame there isn’t more of it. It brings a respectful take on Hindu and Balinese mythology, one which has a strong narrative hook that invests you in Raji’s personal adventure whilst offering enjoying gameplay. Though it suffers from some unfortunate technical issues, this is one journey we still recommend experiencing, especially if you're a fan of the genre. »

« This game is based on indian historical theme, with decent combat fight and cinematic story telling, good for everyone »
« This is definitely a good game. Fantastic visual and story. It features enjoyable challenges and definitely intriguing storytelling. I love the world of Raji and the Indusn gods Devas...great music and the world-building elements that make an immersive story. Listening to the narrations by the goddess Durga about the wars between the Devas (gods) and Asuras (demons) is captivating and enchanting. I wish there were more games that explored stories from Indian mythology. This game is truly a gem! »
« Great story and gameplay. I really enjoyed it and it felt like playing older version of GOW. Bosses are bit tough to bit and need lot of replay to kill it. »
« Great game. Beautiful visuals. Music is great. Platform and combat are ok. The story is great. This is a work of love. The ending was disappointing and felt rushed. Otherwise great game. »
« I don't know what happened! I played the demo and loved it, so I bought the full game and it wasn't as good. Nevertheless, its an incredible looking game, so maybe I'll give it another try. »
« Was great for the first two thirds of the game, then they introduced an enemy that looks like a chess piece that quickly spawns other types of enemies to where you end up in an unbalanced thunderdome. On normal difficulty, the fights ended up being mostly the speedy bad guys that are meant to be countered by the shield, but after 4 or so spawn you are quickly overwhelemed. I managed to get lucky on one attempt and my bow didn’t auto target too many of the wrong statues and I cleared it, but it was just not a fun encounter like the rest. Just after, I end up at a forced stealth section that is far too slow and one mistake puts you back at the start. It feels like two different sets of level designers made the game. The pace was broken and I lost all interest in continuing. Story and feel was amazing, and the mythological aspects of this game are what made me want to keep playing. That said this would have been a 10 for me, but they dropped the baton at the end. »
« The game become easily boring and way to repetitive, the story is interesting but the game play is really poor. Wouldn't recommend to buy it. »
« "I have to admit that overall it was a fantastic experience for the most part – it’s a real shame that it was over in only five hours. The final level in particular comes and goes quickly, with very little more than the final boss fight, making it seem like they ran into budget or time restraints. It is a wonderful journey through Hindu mythology, and I hope the team can bless us with a follow up in the near future." ****/2021/03/12/raji-an-ancient-epic/ »
