Description Steam (Français)

Traduction: CoolKat, Nathan Chauveau.

Check out and wishlist my next game > Daymare Town.

Daymare Town is a remaster tailored for a Steam release. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2619240/Daymare_Town/ Wishlist this game today and lets dive deep into the daymare madness once again in 2025. I want to finish developing this remaster early 2025, however there's no deadlines or dates set, since I don't even know how much new stuff I want to put in that game. It will feature not only all previous chapters of the main series, but small games as well, Daymare Cat, Stray, Kite and Invaders. And most likely much, much more. New locations, new puzzles, new side stories, new inhabitants and so on.

Submachine Card Game

Hey guys! I designed a card game and it's ready to go! :D I will be launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund it on June 21st. If you'd like to help fund this game, please follow this project's page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mateuszskutnik/submachine-card-game This is a competitive card game. The goal is to be the first to play all cards from your hand. Complete deck consists of 100 cards: 64 room cards and 36 functional cards. These cards are 8x8 cm (3.1x3.1 inch) in size. The packaging of this game is very compact, the box is only 9x9x4.5 cm (3.5x3.5x1.8 inch) and fit's in the palm of your hand. You can take it with you in your backpack and play anywhere. In this game you take the role of a Submachine explorer assigned to an exploration team. Your task is not to escape, but to discover. You and your friends are on an assignment from the management to unearth new, unique Submachine location that you build from ground up using cards in your hand. More details, rule book and cards will be revealed once the campaign launches. I really hope You guys like this project and decide to back it on Kickstarter. :D Mateusz Skutnik

Hey Poor Player 90/100

« Slice of Sea is phenomenal in practically every regard and should be used as a case study for the genre going forward. The way it so brilliantly rewards observation and exploration in a manner that naturally calls to our childlike curiosity is a literal joy to experience. As I struggle to eloquently conclude this review, all I can think of is repeatedly shaking the shoulders of each reader and exclaiming “get this game, get this game, get this game!” Slice of Sea is absolutely one of my top five titles for 2021, and if you love this genre, I’m confident you’ll agree with me. »

Adventure Gamers 90/100

« Slice of Sea sets you loose in a gorgeously illustrated dreamscape and trusts you to figure out what needs doing along the way. Its lack of direction won’t be to everyone’s taste, but if you long to get lost in beautiful otherworldly surroundings, you won’t want to miss it. »

Buried Treasure 78/100

« At £20, I’m hesitant to recommend it. At £10, I’d be demanding you buy it. But then, value is relative to the person purchasing, and you’re a big girl/boy, you can make that decision for yourself. Either way, this is a fab puzzle game, with just adorable art and music. »

LeHack 9/10

« Yesterday I finished Slice of Sea and it's the most wonderful little game. First and foremost it's entirely hand-drawn by it's sole creator, so there is nothing that feels "generic" in this game. Every location is a mini-piece of art, most could serve as fascinating images in on their own. This is further enhanced by the wonderfully peaceful soundtrack, specially created for this game by Thumpmonks (who also created sounds for the Sub-Machine). You can hear it all on You-Tube on their channel. As for the plot? You are a seaweed creature in a kind of a HEV suit (hazardous for the seaweed) trying to get back home. You can move, jump and enter pathways perpendicular to the movement axis. You can also use a form of telekinesis which allows you to influence your environment remotely (using the mouse pointer). So basically it's a mix of point-and-click with a 2D-ish platform game. The riddles aren't too hard, but require a good eye for detail and for connecting similar entities from all over the explored area. Once in a while they will span multiple locations (even across completely different "worlds"). So it's good to play this game through without too many pauses in between the sessions (it took me 4 sessions over the span of one week, totaling to 7~8h). The game is very relaxing and as such has a lot of replay value, so I'm sure I'll play it again. If there is one advice I can give, it's one I actually picked up while reading another review: be generous with the use of "S" (entering pathways) as every time I came up to a wall, it was due to some side turn I missed which contained the missing switch or item. The only drawback I can imagine is that it ends in a very unexpected moment (there is no buildup indicating that you are nearing the end, like one usually gets in games). To wrap up, I really enjoyed playing this game and can wholeheartedly recommend it :) »
