Temple Run est un jeu vidéo du genre arcade et plateforme, sorti le 4 août 2011. Développé et édité par Imangi Studios, il met le joueur dans le rôle d'un explorateur poursuivi par des "singes démoniaques" après avoir volé une idole dans un temple. Le jeu adopte une mécanique de course infinie.
Disponible initialement sur les systèmes iOS et Android, Temple Run a également été lancé sur Windows Phone 8 à la fin du mois de mars 2013. Il a été créé avec le moteur de jeu Unity. Le jeu a reçu une note agrégée de 70,50.
Concernant son accueil, la presse a été très enthousiaste. The Guardian a salué sa capacité à "franchir les frontières démographiques et du jeu vidéo", tandis que Slide to Play l'a qualifié de "feu d'artifice que chaque joueur iOS devrait télécharger". Les avis des joueurs sont plus nuancés ; si certains considèrent qu'il s'agit de "l'un des meilleurs jeux mobiles" avec de "superbes graphismes", d'autres estiment qu'il est "similaire au jeu original, bon pour tuer le temps, mais rien de plus".
