Trivia Crack, connu à l’origine sous le nom espagnol Preguntados, est un jeu de quiz développé et édité par Etermax, une société basée à Buenos Aires, en Argentine. Lancé d’abord en Amérique latine le 26 octobre 2013, le jeu est référencé au 6 novembre 2013 dans la base de données. Il permet aux utilisateurs de s’affronter avec des amis ou des joueurs du monde entier, dans la lignée de titres comme Trivial Pursuit. En décembre 2014, il était devenu le jeu le plus téléchargé de l’App Store d’Apple et disponible en dix langues.
Le jeu se présente sur Android, iOS, Windows Phone et navigateur web. Il affiche une note agrégée de 76,73. La presse a notamment salué une alternative aux quiz datés ou répétitifs, comme le souligne l’avis de 148Apps. Du côté des joueurs, certains décrivent sur Metacritic des publicités trop longues et trop envahissantes, en particulier après une mauvaise réponse, ce qui nuit à leur expérience.

« The adds are so bad for this game that I cannot physically play it without seething in agony. Their are SO MANY. EVERY TIME you get a question wrong, you watch an add. AND THEIR ARE SO MANY PREDATORY MICROTRANSACTIONS IT’S RIDICULOUS. Quite simply, this game has such an unnecessary amount of adds that you couldn’t even play if you wanted to. And after you watch the add, you have to close MULTIPLE screens asking you to buy stuff. I’ve played a lot of freemium games in my life, but NEVER have I played one THIS bad. »
« This is truly an excellent quiz game even if there are a few minor hiccups in the interface (and yes, there are even some glitches). The grammar's actually really good here which is something I always look for in a trivia game and it's incredibly addicting. The friend ranking system, the chatting, and the replay value are all standout elements here. This isn't a game I'll be taking off of my device for a very long time. »
