Karnaaj Rally
Karnaaj Rally est un jeu de course sorti le 20 décembre 2002 sur Game Boy Advance. Développé par Paragon 5 et édité par Jaleco, il met en avant une compétition agressive où il faut laisser une traînée de destruction derrière soi en faisant déraper et crasher les adversaires grâce à un arsenal d’armes comme des roquettes et des mines. La progression repose sur les victoires et l’argent gagné pour accéder à des niveaux de compétition supérieurs.
L’accueil critique a salué le travail des développeurs, NintendoWorldReport estimant que Paragon 5 et Infinite Dreams ont réalisé un excellent jeu malgré une pochette jugée laide. Pocket Games a souligné que l’action de course est fluide, rapide et aussi réaliste que possible pour un jeu mettant en scène des punks voyageant dans le temps. Certains joueurs sur Metacritic ont exprimé leur enthousiasme, considérant Karnaaj Rally comme l’un des meilleurs jeux de course sur GBA, notamment grâce à sa perspective isométrique qui offre une expérience proche de la 3D.

« A great racing game on the GBA. Actually one of the greatest racing games on the GBA. With it isometric perspective there is actually a 3d experience in a top down style. The racing works great. Even in 2023 the gameplay didn't age. Its still fun. It's almost like Death rally back in the days for PC. I can recommend this game to each retro and current gen top doen race game lovers. »
