RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business est une extension autonome développée par Teyon et éditée par Nacon, prévue pour le 17 juillet 2025 sur PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 et Xbox Series X|S. Propulsée par l'Unreal Engine 5, cette aventure d'action et de tir à la première personne est proposée au tarif de 29,99 euros. L'intrigue prend place après les événements du jeu de base sorti en 2023, alors que RoboCop a déjà vaincu le « New Guy in Town ». Malgré cette victoire, le crime persiste dans les rues de Detroit, jusqu'à ce qu'un groupe de mercenaires d'élite s'empare de l'OmniTower, le nouveau complexe résidentiel de l'OCP, pour en faire une forteresse mortelle, forçant le cyborg à intervenir pour rétablir l'ordre.
Le gameplay conserve la boucle de jeu du titre original tout en introduisant une nouvelle génération d'ennemis high-tech : drones volants, robots explosifs, tourelles antipersonnel, escouades blindées dotées de miniguns, forces spéciales équipées de jetpacks et adversaires armés de katanas aux capacités surhumaines. Pour y faire face, le joueur dispose d'un arsenal élargi incluant l'emblématique Auto-9 et le nouveau Cryo Cannon, ainsi que des finish moves brutaux. L'expérience se distingue par des missions permettant d'incarner Alex Murphy avant sa transformation, offrant un regard sur sa vulnérabilité humaine, mais aussi de prendre le contrôle de l'ED-209. La campagne principale demande environ huit heures pour être bouclée, tandis qu'une approche complétionniste en réclame onze.
Côté accueil, l'extension obtient une note agrégée de 74 sur Metacritic et 71 sur OpenCritic. La presse spécialisée a salué un chapitre bien rythmé, doté d'une écriture soignée et d'une expérience polie qui s'appuie sur les solides fondations du jeu de base, IGN Adria la qualifiant même de « shooter presque idéal ». Du côté des joueurs, les retours soulignent un contenu condensé qui va droit au but, louant l'atmosphère typique de la franchise et les bonnes idées comme l'incarnation de Murphy ou de l'ED-209, tout en notant qu'il s'agit essentiellement de la même formule que l'opus précédent, proposée dans un format plus court.

« Greetings from Lithuania. "RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business" (2025) was a good game but only because I knew exactly what I was getting into. I liked the "Rogue City" very much, therefore bought "Business" on my PS5 as well. I wasn't disappointed but wasn't blown away either. The game has amazing shooting mechanics - shooting feels great - every gun just oozes with power, and bullet hit mechanics are also amazing - you can destroy nearly all environment in many instances. The story on the other hand was intriguing at first but a bit disappointment near the end. And the very ending is way to short and basically leaving nothing to be desired. There are glitches in the game, graphic bugs here and there, sound glitches - just to be aware. Overall, I did enjoy "RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business" as a great shooter at its core, yet it is a very simplistic one and story is paper thin. Writing dialogs were OK and nothing more. I would recommended on cheaper discounted price. »

« J’ai vraiment apprécié ce jeu sur le côté nostalgie ! Gameplay jouissif, détente, un vrai sentiment de puissance avec robocop renforcé au fil du jeu. Reste présent cependant quelques bugs de caméra sur les cinématiques, des traductions non faites, ou des personnages qui s’envolent sur quelques tirs… Point positif le scénario avec cependant une fin bouclée un peu trop rapidement à mon goût ! »
